About Mr. Singer
I have been at Trailside Elementary since 2008. I teach science and math for 6th grade.
I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in December 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Minor in Sociology. I completed my masters at Marian University in Technology in Education in 2011. In 2014, I completed my Educational Leadership masters program through Viterbo University to obtain my Administration license.
Before college I graduated from Waukesha South High School where I participated in band, track and field, and football. I am proud to say that I am the only one at South who played during the games, and then marched at halftime.
In the summers, I worked as the Camp Director at Camp Long Lake, which is a Boy Scout Camp. I have been working there since 2002 until 2016 and enjoyed every moment. Now I am the adviser of the Order of the Arrow, which is Scouting's National Honor Society. During my career in Scouting I also received my Eagle Scout Award. I am very proud of earning the award and it shows my commitment and dedication to completing a goal.
Outside of school I spend most of my time watching, or playing, baseball (Go Brew Crew!), basketball, playing Frisbee golf, yard work, playing video games, or reading. Many people also say that I am a Brewers Super Fan.
