Teacher's Corner (By Mr. Singer):
I hope everyone enjoys their day off tomorrow, well at least the students. Teachers will be having a conference all day at the high school. Next week will be the final week of the second trimester. We are getting close to the end of the year, can you believe it?
Next Friday, March 2nd will be an early release day as well. Please be prepared for the half day. Students will be dismissed at 11:30. It is also the last day of the second trimester. Grades will be completed the week after, so please remember to log onto Skyward to see your child’s grades as often as you can.
Iditarod. The last great race will be starting next Saturday. Today we begin learning about the race, and start to get prepared to follow the events. As the next week rolls out the students will be working on projects, reading articles and books on the Iditarod, and eventually challenging their favorite musher to see who can go farther? The students’ reading or the musher? For more information on the Iditarod, go to www.iditarod.com.
