News from the Social Studies Department (By Sophia): In Social Studies, we are studying the first settlers of Middle America. We dove deeper in depth with learning about the Mayans, Aztecs, and Incas. We created a colored and factual foldable about these groups.
News from the Math Department (By Brenna): In math, we are learning about perimeter and angle measurements so make sure you pay attention! This was another performance brought to you by Teacher Brenna!
News from the English/Language Arts Department (By Zach): We are reaching the end of collection 4 in our close readers. Also finishing up Badger Testing.
News from the Music Department (By Macy): We did stations in music. The stations were Autoharp, guitar, computers, and piano. We are almost done with them.
News from the Physical Education Department (By Connor): In gym class we are shooting archery with a Hunger Games theme. For following directions and shooting well we get chips which we use to pay the days expenses, such as food and water. If we run out of chips we can get them from our sponsor (teacher).
News from the Art Department (By Maddy): In art, we made wire bases and now we are finishing up the paper mâché part. After everyone is done with the paper mâché part, then we will be working on giving our sculptures a colorful design.
Free Choice Area (By Thalia): In gym we are doing the Trailside Twister Games! Which is where we do archery and shoot targets or a new area the gym teacher tells us to shoot at. If we shoot a target or an area we earn points. Once you earn a lot of points you're better off. Gym class is really fun but very challenging.
