This is quite a string of weather we have had. Anyone know where summer is hiding?
Next week Friday will be our Fox River Shadow Day. This will be an all day event where the students get to see what it is like at Fox River.
Reminder; we also have our field trip to the Milwaukee Public Museum on the 28th.
Finally, on the 31st is the school’s carnival for the students. Hold on to your seat, it is going to be wild.
MAPs testing will conclude next week. This week we completed our math test. 81% of the class made their growth in math this week! This is an amazing feat. This is the students’ last chance to show their growth they made this year in reading, language arts, and math. This week we did our reading test. At the end of the testing I will send a results sheet home for you to see their progress.
We will be having our final auction of the year on the last day of school. If you have anything that you would like to donate to the auction we would be more than happy to receive it. From now until then you can send in the donations to school. Thank you to those few individuals that have donated items so far. We really appreciate it.
Our next Early Release day will be Friday, May 24th. Then we will be off on Monday, May 27th for Memorial Day.
Please check the pictures section of the website for some nice pictures of the spirit in the class.
That is all for this week. Thanks for reading Our Class Newsletter. Please email me with any questions or concerns you might have.
