In Social Studies we are doing our decade projects.
News from the Math Department (By Taylor):
In math,we are learning about angles and how to measure them with angle rulers.
News from the Reader’s Workshop Department (By Eva):
We have been working on our reading books that we were assigned. These books should be finished on December 16th. Our chapter summaries should be completed after we read each chapter. Weekly goals are made up each week by our groups and we read to it by Friday of each week.
News from the Writer's Workshop Department (By Hailey E.):
We are working on our special projects for Christmas. The special project is using our homes. We hope you like them.
News from the Music Department (By Graeme):
We just finished up our concert and did a self reflection this week. Our self reflection contained questions such as: If the concert video was just you, what would people say about your performance? We are now getting back to regular music.
News from the Physical Education Department (By Marissa):
We have been roller skating. We are on our 1st year of wearing helmets. We have just been getting the hang of skating, because we haven’t been playing games with them yet. We usually play the dice game or limbo. It’s really fun!

In art we are doing origami balls that are made of origami. It’s fun!!!!!!

In band we are working on scales. So make sure you practice your scales!
Teacher's Corner (By Mr. Singer):
Anyone know where the snow is? I mean we are almost a third of the way through December, but no snow? I don’t know how we are supposed to have a winter wonderland. Either way, I hope everyone is getting into the holiday spirit. Have you started the countdown yet?

After Christmas break we will be having our classroom auction. If you have anything at home you could donate, or want to purchase for the auction, we would be more than welcome to accept anything. People have donated old movies, video games, gift cards, candy or food, etc. Please let me know
