Teacher's Corner (By Mr. Singer): Happy Friday the 13th to you! Have you been looking for a way to celebrate this holiday? Why not come to Trailside tonight for movie night. Bring the whole family and enjoy some good family time.
Remember that assignment notebooks do not need to be signed after the end of the trimester (last day of this month). After the first trimester we do not require the notebooks to be checked. The only people who will have to have it checked will be anyone who is not ready to be independent at that point. HOWEVER, if you have notes you want to send to me in the assignment notebook please continue to do so after November 30. The students are still expected to fill out the notebooks and we will take time to do so each day. We are just not checking the signatures anymore.
Please remember to get your pictures in for the Home Is… project. Send your pictures to [email protected] as soon as you can.
For upcoming important dates, including days off, PTO events, etc. go to our Calendar.
Make sure you are staying connected with our Remind alert system and following the class on Twitter. Find both feeds shown on our website, www.mrsinger.weebly.com. If you are not signed up on either you can do so on the website. Contact me if you have any questions on doing this. I have also added pictures to our pictures page too.
Remember to check the assignment notebook board daily for homework updates.
BONUS: On Monday include a note for a reward in the assignment notebook, or email me. Harry S. Truman was president during the 20th century and is well known for bringing World War II to the end. Let me know what the S in his name stands for. I look forward to seeing how many respond.
