Teacher's Corner (By Mr. Singer):
I hope everyone has had a good week. We have been hard at work here in room 178 learning a lot of new concepts, taking MAPs tests, and enjoying our first guidance lesson this week too. As we approach the end of the first month there is a lot we can look back on and reflect. We also say good-bye to one classmate, for a month at least. One of our classmates is going to Europe with family and will be sharing his fun with us when he gets back. We will also try to SKYPE with him while he is over there so he can share what he learns with us.
We will be continuing our MAPs testing this next week. This next week will be language arts. Our goal is to see students grow academically throughout the year. This first test is to see where the students are at the start of the year, and set the goals of what I will be teaching for the remainder of the year. This is the last test of the cycle.
Our first early release day is September 30th, next Friday. We dismiss at 11:30, so be ready!
