Teacher's Corner (By Mr. Singer and Mrs. Topp): There is just a bit more than one month left in the school year! Where has the time gone?! To keep you up-to-date on your child’s progress, students received a copy of their current grades stapled in the assignment book. The copy of the grades has a place for a parent signature, and students should return the signed copy to Mrs. Topp Monday. Please go to Skyward and click on the individual grades if there is a question about low grades because of missing assignments or low scores. We know that our sixth graders will end the school year on a successful note!
In addition to checking your child’s grades on Skyward, please also periodically (at least once a week) check your child’s assignment book. The assignment book is a helpful tool to see what students are doing in class and checking if there are notes for upcoming events or messages from us.
We have scheduled a field trip to the Discovery Museum on May 23rd. Permission slips went home last Friday and are due May 8th. Thank you to the parents who are available to chaperone. More information will be sent home to let you know what time to meet. If your child did not turn in his/her track permission slip, another copy has been stapled in the assignment book. It is bright pink. Please have your child return
