Teacher's Corner (By Mr. Singer): Happy December to all of you! As you know this month will be very busy for school and family schedules, but let me make it a bit easier by giving you the opportunity to read this newsletter full of knowledge each week.
Thursday was the end of the trimester. Our grades will be ready to be viewed on Skyward on Wednesday. My grades are up and ready for math and science. I will be checking on each account the second week of December to see who is not checking grades since December 1st. If I see no access to your account I will send a letter home reminding you to check.
Since we are not a third of the way into the school, I did want to remind you of some policies that Mrs. Krueger and I will be sticking to better to help the students prepare for the rigor of middle school. Remember, that at open house we put together a welcome letter that we sent home that covers the policies; click here for a copy of the letter to review. We will be making sure we stick to the missing work and corrected work policy in the start of the second trimester. Students have up to one week after the due date to get work in, otherwise it WILL BE A 0%. Students also have only up to a week to correct assignments after the work has been passed back.

Remember to check the assignment notebook board daily for homework updates.
BONUS: Each week I will put a challenge on here for any parent or student to try. All you have to do is give a response by Monday in the assignment notebook for me to see. If the answer is correct the student will receive $50 towards their checking account. Good Luck!
There are many colors out there, magenta, indigo, etc., but only three colors are considered primary colors. Which three are considered primary? No, flannel is not a primary color, even if I love it.
