Teacher's Corner (By Mr. Singer and Mrs. Topp): Happy Friday! As we start a new trimester and approach our winter break, the students’ excitement is growing! As a reminder, report cards will be generated and available with our comments on December 11th by 2:00 pm. We will be checking Skyward the following week to see who is and who is not checking in on Skyward. For information on upcoming events you can see our calendar page from our website too.
Now that we are in the second trimester, students will only need to get one parent signature a WEEK in the assignment notebook (assignment notebook board). Students have done such a great job filling out their assignment notebooks and having it signed that we feel the students have developed the habit/routine which will continue. Students will continue filling out the assignment book to show you what was done in school and what needs to be completed for homework, but one parent signature a week is now required. Students have an incentive if they do get parent signatures daily:)
The students in ELA class completed a self-review of the first trimester. Please have a conversation with your child about all of the successes he/she has and ways to improve upon this next trimester. You should be proud!
