Next Friday will be the first of our two classroom auctions. The following note went home on Thursday night, or if forgotten by students today. Please review and if you can help we would appreciate it:
Its auction time and we are looking for donations for our biannual classroom auction. Students have been earning money for being positive and taking responsibility for their learning.
If you are interested in helping make the events a success, we are in need of your help. Due to the low returns on our auction letters the students sent out earlier in the year we want to reward the students.
The following items could be given: rummage items, used books, business donations, gift cards, etc.
Please send your donations by Wednesday, January 29th. Any baked goods bring the morning of the 31st.
Please make sure you go on Skyward and check your student’s progress. There are families who have not gone online yet to check grades since The turn of the year.
Please make sure you make some time to check the Trailside newsletter as well. Please click on the link located on the homepage of our class website.
For upcoming important dates, including days off, Market Day pick up, etc. go to our Calendar.
I wanted to inform everyone of one more communication tool that I implemented into our school community to use. Along with the Remind101 text system we now have a Twitter account for the class. Go to www.twitter.com/mrsingerclass to see news and updates from the school day, etc. I am posting pictures, reminders, educational resources, etc. You can also gain access by clicking on the Twitter tab in the top right corner of our website, www.mrsinger.weebly.com. PLEASE stay connected to what we are doing in our classroom.
If you want to know more about what is going on in the Trailside PTO, please see their website too. You can find information about items like the Trailside gear sales, and more!
Remember to check the assignment notebook board daily for homework updates.
