Teacher's Corner (By Mr. Singer):
Conferences are just around the corner and we are ALMOST done planning the schedule for the two days. I am only waiting on two students to return their form, and two others to change the times that were already taken. Please plan to show up about 5 minutes early to your time. If the conference prior to yours seems to be going a little long just knock (it is probably long because I talk a lot). We have a lot of students this year and a lot of conferences that are back-to-back. If we need to plan more time later we can do that. Be ready as well to have the students present what they have done this year too. They will be working hard with Mrs. Muench next week to develop a portfolio and goals they will be sharing with you at conferences.
For more on different events coming up please check our calendar page of the website. If you want to know more about what is going on in the Trailside PTO, please see their website too. You can find information about items like the Trailside gear sales, and more!
Thank you to all the parents who helped out at the Walk to School Day on Wednesday. I have not heard yet from the PTO on how we did on our goal of earning money for the school, but the turnout of parents at the event was wonderful.
Remember to check the assignment notebook board daily for homework updates.
That is all I have
for you this week. I look forward to seeing everyone in two weeks.
