I am excited to announce we have been notified by the state of Wisconsin that Trailside is a Wisconsin Title I School of Recognition! According to State Superintendent Tony Evers, "This award recognizes the work of the students and their parents along with teachers, school administrators, and school staff members to break the link between poverty and low academic achievement." We have met the criteria for being a "High-Progress School" and for closing the achievement gap amongst our students. We fall within the top 10 percent of schools experiencing growth in reading and mathematics for elementary schools. None of this would be possible without the hard work and collaboration of the students, parents, and staff. This is quite an honor and we should all be proud of our Trailside community!
I have attached a copy of the news release if you would like to learn more about this award.
