What a busy week it has been here at Trailside. A lot of work has been done! We are all ready for the weekend to be here.
Last night was the parent informational night at Fox River. Congratulations to our families here at Trailside. 41 of the 62 families attended the meeting. A few points from the meeting that I would like to pass on to you as reminder. If you did not attend your child will be bringing home a packet in the next week. The yellow tech form will need to be returned by May 10th. Know that the cost of lunch is going up next year. May 17th will be a shadow day for our entire 6th grade team at Fox River.
MAPs testing will be the last week of April. This will be the chance for us to see what growth the students have made this year in reading, language arts, and math. Our First test will be May 1st. The first week will be reading, followed by math, and finally language arts.
We will be having our final auction of the year on the last day of school. If you have anything that you would like to donate to the auction we would be more than happy to receive it. From now until then you can send in the donations to school.
Our next Early Release day will be Friday, May 24th. Then we will be off on Monday, May 27th for Memorial Day.
Please check the pictures section of the website for some nice pictures of the spirit in the class.
That is all for this week. Thanks for reading Our Class Newsletter. Please email me with any questions or concerns you might have.
