News from the Social Studies Department (By Carson): We are presenting our Decades Presentation. I liked it. I had the 40s.
News from the Math Department (By Will): In math we learned how to play cribbage. We had a test on Friday.
News from the English/Language Arts Department (By Liam): We took a quiz on a short story in our collections book called “Mammoth Shakes and Monster Waves”. We also watched the Polar Express and read the book. We will do a comparing and contrasting sheet on the book and story.
News from the Music Department (By Bianca): We played around with Notefilght. We made our own songs.
News from the Physical Education Department (By Trevor): We were playing games related to Christmas this week and ended our hockey unit.
News from the Art Department (By Lindsay): We are doing a clay repetitive project. Today we finished doing the clay. Next class we will glaze them.
Free Choice Area (By Skyler): In art we are doing a repetition project with clay. This was our last day to form them.
Teacher's Corner (By Mr. Singer): Merry Christmas to all. I hope you enjoy your time off.
Today we had our 6th grade auction. The kids were well behaved and did a great job. We had several guest auctioneers; Mrs. Hoppe (Assistant Superintendent), Lt. Friends (Kenosha County Sheriff), and Mr. Dembosky. The kids got a lot of cool items to take home.
