News from the Social Studies Department (By Will): We Took a test on Canada. We learned about the prairie regions.
News from the Math Department (By Brian): We are learning about a subject of mean, median, mode, and range. Then, we finished and took the test (it was challenging).
News from the English/Language Arts Department (By Sabrina): We are reading the story The Road Not Taken. We are going to take a test on the reading.
News from the Music Department (By Trevor): We finished our music technology unit. We used an application called Noteflight on our Chromebooks.
News from the Physical Education Department (By Lindsay): We are doing a volleyball unit at the moment. We just played a game with huge air volleyballs against one another.
News from the Art Department (By Skyler): In art class, we have started a long project about an artist of our choice. We have to have 20 facts and an art piece about our artist.
Free Choice Area (By Jake): This week we were excited for Mrs. Krueger coming back. We also made GORP and were watching Iron Will.

Teacher's Corner (By Mr. Singer): I hope you all enjoy your spring break. Remember that we will be back April 4th. Make sure to get some rest and relaxation over your time off.
Grades have been up for a week. Today you might get a letter from me if you have not checked grades yet for the second trimester.
When we return it will be time for the Wisconsin Forward exam. Students will be taking the ELA test the first week and math the second week. Please help by making sure the students get plenty of rest and a good breakfast before coming to school.
Yesterday we held our first ever students vs. staff basketball game. The event was a huge success and a lot of fun to watch. The 6th graders worked with the kindergartners to be cheerleaders and shook their pom-poms.
