Oh well, the groundhog saw his shaddow. Get ready for a long winter. However, if this is what winter is going to be like I do not mind. I hope all of you are having a pleseant start to the month of February. We will be hitting our 100th day of school on Monday, conferences are this month, Valentine’s day comes up this month, and we have a leap year day. How Fun! I almost forgot, the catchers and pitchers report as well in only 16 days.
I wanted to again thank all the families for helping with the auction two weeks ago. Your support and willingness to donate items for the students makes the event special. Thank you very much.
Every family that checked 1st trimester report cards have also checked their child’s 2nd trimester progress reports too. Thank you. Please remember to log onto Skyward to see your child’s grades as often as you can.
We will be having conferences this month, as I mentoned above, and I will be sending letters home today to all families. One letter will go home stating that we do not need a conference, but if you want one I can try to plan one if I have time open. The other letter will be requesting a conference. Please make sure if you get one of those that you respond to me as soon as you can, Monday at the earliest. As 6th grade teachers we try to sit in on all conferences since we teach all students.
