Teacher's Corner (By Mr. Singer):
I have had a few late nights this week with the Brewers being on the West coast, but it still has not slowed us down with all the excitement we had here at school. We finished our SCAN presentations, did our second round of MAPs testing, and began astronomy in science. Now if only there was a country song for a week like that…
This week we continued our MAPs testing for the spring season. The students took the math test and did very well as a class. Next week we will finish with language arts on Wednesday.
Planning for the end of the year; we do one more auction the last day of school for the students. I am asking again if you have anything you can donate to our auction that would be appreciated. So, if you are doing some spring cleaning and find some items that look enjoyable to 6th, soon to be 7th, graders, or you want to donate some gift like baskets, etc. please let me know. The dontaitons from auction letters have been down this year compared to the last few years.
Two weeks ago we openend the progress report checking period for the third trimester. We are only missing two families that need to check. I will be sending letters to those families on Monday. THANK YOU ALL for keeping up-to-date with your student’s progress.
