What a week it has been. We have completed our first FULL week of school, the Packers beat the Bears, and the Brewers are over .500 for the first time since mid April! We are off to a pretty good start this school year.
This next week will be continuing MAPs testing. This time it will be Reading. The week after will be Language Arts. After we complete the entire test I would be happy to send the scores home so you can see the changes since they took the test in spring.
This next week will also bring us our first Spanish class of the year. Every three weeks we get a half hour class on how to speak Spanish. The instruction is basic, but helpful. On Wednesday night ask your students what they learned in Spanish that day.
September 26th will also be an interesting day at Trailside. It will be a Wednesday, but we will have a Monday schedule for the day. This is to make up for one of the Mondays that we lose during the year. October 5th will be our first early release day as well. For all major dates of interest please go to the website and check out the calendar page.
If you are interested in any other information, please peruse the website and enjoy. Our class rules, pictures from the year, and much more can be found. If you ever have any questions, or comments, please email me!
Thank You,
Mr. Singer
